What Families Say
I searched for an American Short Hair breeder all over the US. As luck would have it, David and Milla Macias were practically in my own backyard. While I would definitely have travelled further to get my kittens, the quality of their principled and humane breeding practices, and their strict vetting of interested buyers speaks to their love of, and commitment to this breed of cat.
Their kittens are meticulously bred, and raised in the company of their mothers, siblings, and of course David and Milla for four months before they are allowed to be delivered to their new homes. The effect is a confident, well-socialized and playful kitten, who has mastered self-grooming and cleanliness. If this is the breed you long for, look no further than Milla’s Kats.
As I was searching for a new cat, I happened upon Milla’s Kats. What a fortunate discovery! The new addition to our family is an absolute delight — very cuddly and loveable. David and Milla are friendly and helpful. You can’t go wrong by trusting their expertise. They love their animals and will make sure you find the right fit for you!
I recently had the most delightful experience with Milla’s Kats cattery, and I cannot express my satisfaction enough! From the moment I contacted them, I was greeted with warmth and a genuine love for feline companions. The staff was incredibly attentive and patient, taking the time to understand my needs and preferences.
They went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect cat for my home. Speaking of which, the cats at Milla’s Kats are simply breathtaking! Their beauty and charm are unparalleled. My new kitten is healthy, socialized, affectionate, and exudes pure elegance. I highly recommend Milla’s Kats cattery to anyone in search of top-notch service and the most stunning feline companions!
To David and Milla – Thank you. You sent me two brothers from your cattery in California, and they have made my life complete. Carlo and Edoardo (sons of Sophia Loren) are the most affectionate, playful, and beautiful kittens. The experience of adopting from Milla’s Kats has been exceptional, from the first view of the website (and first glimpse of the elegant photography of David Macias) to actual contact with David and his extraordinarily breadth of knowledge about all cats, particularly American Shorthairs, to being supported while waiting for the kittens to be born, to knowing that kittens had been selected for me, to preparing by reading all David’s recommendations and suggestions, to meeting David at the airport as he transported the kittens to Chicago, to taking them home.
I worried about how to introduce my two boys to their new home; should I restrict them to one room of the house as they got used to me? David said: “You can. But also know that they will have emotional support from each other.” And he was so right! These kitties are bold adventurers. Reasonably cautious, they ventured into the house and almost immediately they were at home. Carlo is a “fetcher”: and every morning and evening he brings his toy mouse and drops it requesting to play.
Edoardo joins in, and then the two of them go thundering through the house, nose to tail until they fall into wrestling each other. They also join me in my workouts liking to sit on my stomach while I do abdominal crunches. But what is particularly exceptional, and I believe related to the loving socialization they receive from Milla, is how affectionate and people oriented they are. They prefer to be in the same room as I am, even if it is during their midmorning siesta. They definitely prefer to share my meals with me (although David has cautioned me about what people foods are hazards for kittens.) These cats are also hunters. . . At this point they are still honing their hunting chops on spiders and flies, but mice beware! ` And they join me in whatever work or project I happen to be engaged with.
They are the most wonderful kittens and I highly recommend Milla’s Kats as a cattery with a conscience. They are the best.
I acquired my American Short Hair kitten through Milla’s Kats. I knew I wanted an American Short Hair because I had one before and I fell in love with the breed.
I strapped my little kitten in the car for our ride home. I could see her in my rear-view mirror. I prepared myself for the hour-and-a-half return trip, knowing that she’d probably cry the whole way. Cats usually do not like car rides. Pru settled in without a peep. Nestled in her soft baby blankets inside her carrier she drifted off to sleep. The ride home was silent as she slept peacefully the whole time.
From the moment I got her home, introduced her to her litter box, and let her slowly explore her new surroundings she has never had a single accident. I’ve had her for over a month.
Pru is confident, bright, interactive, playful, sweet-natured, and the absolute best kitten I’ve ever owned. She has her routines, which include mewing at me in the kitchen while I’m preparing her food; she prances alongside me, wagging her tail, and continues “talking” to me as I walk her food bowl to her eating area. David told me that in the beginning Pru would likely consume her food very fast because she was used to the competition of her litter-mates at feeding time. She has a lusty appetite, and enjoys her meals with gusto! Her purring is the sweetest sound. She ceremoniously bathes herself throughout the day. Pru loves to perch herself at various windows and observe the hummingbirds and butterflies. She loves to be pet, combed, and played with, and will play independently too. She is agile and strong, constantly discovering new surfaces to conquer.
Although there are those who are critical of getting a pet from a breeder, there are very good reasons to consider. Milla’s Kats cattery is completely dedicated to the holistic well-being of their cats and kittens. There is an application process which allows the owners to vet potential clients. They consider your lifestyle, the other occupants in the home, and after doing this for so long I imagine that there’s an intuition which guides their choices for who qualifies. Ownership of a Milla’s Kats kitten is a privilege, not a right. They take immaculate care of the cats they select for breeding, the environment they’re raised in, their nutrition and their “socialization”. This level of care is apparent in the disposition, robust health, confidence and playfulness of their babies. A new kitten is released at 16 weeks of life. In that time the kitten is learning toileting, self-grooming, and becoming social, confident and inquisitive; all direct effects of being in a completely nurturing environment in the presence of the mama cat and the littermates. This “learning” is vital to any kitten’s successful transition to a new home. When you consider that a healthy kitten, who continues to be similarly nurtured and protected in a safe and loving home, has the potential to live for perhaps another twenty years, well that’s a long relationship, and I feel that this level of quality is worth paying for. Milla’s Kats has new and repeat customers all across the United States. That’s impressive.
My family and friends are astounded by Pru’s “personality” and her markings. I am astounded at my good fortune to have found Milla’s Kats, and to have received the blessing of having this very special kitten join our family.
My deep thanks goes to David and Ludmilla Macias for falling in love with this breed long ago, and for dedicating their lives to producing exquisite American Short Hair kittens. I’m forever grateful.
While in pursuit for an American Shorthair Silver Tabby kitten, I had the good fortune of coming across Mila’s Kats cattery. I live 500 miles away, so I did not have the opportunity to meet or David and Mila or the kittens. After my first (of many) phone calls with David, and going through their very informative website, I immediately had a tremendous sense of trust in David and Mila’s knowledge of the breed standard, and more importantly, their love and understanding of their cats and kittens.
It was very clear to me that this was not a business, but rather a passion. David and Mila raise these beautiful kittens and hand selected the best kitten suited to my needs. Fast forward, stunning Sophie came into my life. She is so affectionate and playful with the cutest little personality, not to mention she is Gorgeous! This was truly a pleasurable experience and I highly recommend Mila’s Kats Cattery.
When it comes to writing reviews, we’ve all heard the standard “it was great, couldn’t be happier blah blah”, routine but with my experience with David and Milla that just doesn’t do it justice. From the moment I spoke with David in my initial inquiry on how to replace my beloved silver tabby “Duma”, after he passed at 15 from a tumor in his mouth, I knew he was my guy. So professional, so knowledgeable, so proud of his cats and their quality. I immediately put a down payment for the right little boy to come into my home and assume the vacant spot of “the Emperor” that my sweet Duma held for so long. My sister and I waited patiently for David to select just the right one for my busy household that is filled with 3 dogs, a cat and a mouse. Finally, after 4 months my boy was ready to go to his forever home and I leapt in my car with my mom to zoom down from Carpinteria to Riverside to pick him up. David was so welcoming and had everything I could possibly need to start out with my new kitten “Boone”, including a stunning 8×10 professional photo taken by David of my new kitten.
I left stocked up with plenty of David’s own raw food and a link to NuVet for his supplements. I also left with the most adorable, friendly, soft, cuddly, gregarious, purr machine I’d ever seen!!! He sat quietly without one meow for the 3 1/2-hour trek back home. As soon as we got home it only took a matter of maybe 2 hours for him to meet all my dogs and start rubbing up against them and sleeping with them. Instant friends truly heartwarming and special. I have so many unbelievable photos of them interacting that I keep sending to David because he assured me there could never be too many 🤪.
I promptly had a giant Catio built by Carlos (a fabulous referral from David), in my back yard that is totally amazing!!! The whole experience has been really wonderful, and I now have my benevolent ruler for many, many years to come. David sent me home with the best little personality I’ve ever seen in a cat. Just like my Duma was this little guy is calm, cool, and confident, he’s involved in everything and never tires of giving and getting love and affection. Thank you David and Milla I’m so, so glad I found you!!!!
We adopted Prince Bobby about 1 year ago. Bobby is the joy of our lives having a personality that is perfectly matched to our family. He is so loving and playful.
His name really describes his personality. He seems to think he is royalty. We can’t thank Milla and David enough for choosing us to adopt the Prince. He is really sweet. Milla and David put so much love and time into raising their kittens to assure a healthy adoption.
After the heartbreaking loss of our very special fur baby, we thought we could never have another special kitten. Then we found Milla’s Kats. At first, we were attracted by the pictures of their kittens. But then we learned about how Milla and David raise their babies. The amount of time and love that each kitten gets is evident. David has always been available to answer any of the questions we have had. We haven’t ever seen such unending patience. Thank you Milla and David for allowing us to adopt the Prince.
If you want a super sweet and very affectionate cat, David & Milla from Milla’s Kats, is the one for you. They are out of Southern California and are extremely easy to work with. They are particular in their breeding which in return makes for wonderful friendly cats.
They hold onto his kittens until 16 weeks of age so they are all vaccinated, fixed and chipped before they let them go. They personally deliver your kitty and with 10 pounds of the kitty food they are used to eating. If you are looking for an amazing cat, I highly recommend working with David and Milla.
It has been my great pleasure to adopt a 7-year-old, retired female from Milla’s Kats. I’ve had her for two weeks and couldn’t be more pleased. I was first drawn to their website because the cats are lovely, and the site was easily navigated. Working with the owners was extremely easy, every question answered fully and promptly.
Once she arrived, I was gratified to see how comfortably she fits into my life.. Catalina is lively and engaging with me and my friends that have come to meet her.
This can only happen because she was treated with love and attention prior to my acquiring her. As a matter of fact, she is laying on the desk right now, purring up a storm. What a beauty she is!
My husband and I just received our kitten from Milla’s Kats, and we are already in love. David and Milla made the process so easy, and they are so knowledgeable, we do not have the words to express how much we would recommend getting a kitten through them. It is extremely clear that David and Milla truly care about their fur babies, and put so much love, time and attention into each and every one. They personally match kittens to their owners, and what a phenomenal job they do – it is a such a unique service, for such unique and majestic cats.
Our kitten is so loving and well behaved, he is an absolute dream. We are beyond grateful for our little boy, and for becoming a part of the Milla’s Kats family – we absolutely plan to get another kitten in the future, and would only get one through Milla’s Kats.
Good morning, David! I just wanted to say hello and tell you how much joy our Chloe has brought to our family. She is the sweetest, smartest, most loving little thing. Every single day we find something new about her personality. We just couldn’t love her any more. We are so appreciative of you and the care you put into those sweet cats. She makes every day fun and an adventure. Thank you ❤️
About a year and a half ago, our 12-year-old decided it was time to convince Mom and Dad that we needed some cats. She spent countless hours researching different breeds, learning about their histories, personalities, and which ones were best with children. After careful consideration, she concluded that American Shorthairs would be the perfect fit for our family and began looking into breeders. That’s when we discovered Milla’s Kats, which quickly became our top choice.
Both of our daughters decided they were willing to work hard and save money so they could each have a kitten of their own. For nearly a year, they did everything possible to earn and save. Our (now) 13-year-old babysat, baked and sold homemade bread to neighbors, and took on extra chores at home. Our 9-year-old tackled additional chores, gave Mom and Dad back massages for money, and raked leaves for neighbors. Together, they even organized a garage sale, selling items Mom allowed them to part with, and put every dollar they earned toward the cat fund.
They also saved extra money from earning A’s on their report cards and chose not to spend their birthday gifts from their grandparents, instead adding that to their kitty savings. At the end of the year, both girls proudly contributed all their hard-earned money toward purchasing two American Shorthair kittens.
We absolutely adore our new kitties and couldn’t be prouder of our daughters for staying focused on a goal and seeing it through with such determination and dedication.
I own a veterinary hospital in Arizona, and we’ve always had a clinic cat to cuddle between appointments and boost staff morale. Our previous clinic cat passed away in 2020, and his absence was deeply felt by all of us. We wanted a very special cat—not just to fill the void in our hearts, but one who would thrive in an animal hospital environment. I’ve always admired American Shorthairs, and after thorough searching, I reached out to Milla’s Kats.
From my very first interaction with David, I knew I had found the right cattery. He maintains exceptionally high standards of care for his cats, and it’s clear how much each one is loved. David carefully chose a cat with the perfect personality for our hospital. Our staff immediately fell in love with Linus! He has the ideal temperament for our environment—playful, sweet, and content just spending time with the team. We adore him so much that we decided to add another cat from Milla’s Kats and are eagerly awaiting her arrival.
We live in Alaska, and getting a kitten delivered to Alaska, in the winter, during a pandemic turned out to be a very challenging thing to do. Every time we ran into a snag David did his very best to take care of it or correct it as soon as he could to get our kitten to us. He kept me well informed of the process and kept me updated constantly.
There was great communication the entire time, and it showed he cares for his kittens and the families they go to. He traveled on Thanksgiving to get us our kitten, and had to catch a return flight right away. Even though he did not get to spend as much time as he said he normally does with the families, he was kind and very informative.
Since then our kitten has been introduced to our family of 6 with 5 kids ranging in ages from 5-14. The kids love him and he is such a sweet and playful kitten!
Hello all! If you are thinking about adding a fur baby to your family, I highly recommend an American Shorthair Tabby. My husband and I just took delivery of a little silver tabby girl from Milla’s Kats in So Cal.
David picked the perfect kitty girl based on our bio, he was right on the money! This breed is so sweet and mellow besides being some of the most beautiful felines on earth. David cares about all his kittens and will work with you on every aspect of your experience.
We just bought our second Silver Tabby from Milla’s Kats! Our first is now one year old, and our newest addition is four months old. We absolutely adore them both.
They have completely different personalities, but each one is stunningly beautiful, vigorously healthy, and incredibly sweet. Both clearly reflect the loving care with which they were raised.
I grew up around animals—my parents had a kennel and bred dogs—so I know firsthand how much work and dedication it takes to run an operation like that. When I first visited Milla’s Cattery, what immediately stood out to me was how spotless it was. It’s clear that Milla and David are meticulous about maintaining the health and quality of their cats, raising them on a raw meat diet, and ensuring they’re well-socialized to be playful and affectionate.
If you’re looking for a Silver Tabby, I couldn’t recommend their cattery more highly.
From the first time we spoke to David, we knew that Milla’s Kats was the right fit for our family. The level of care, patience, knowledge, and attentiveness David demonstrated—and continues to show—is truly unmatched.
David took the time to get to know our family to ensure he could find the perfect match between us and our kitten. And he did exactly that—Alta could not be more perfect! She is the most affectionate, sweet, and beautiful kitten we could ever have imagined. From the moment we met her, she was purring and nuzzling up with us.
Our boys absolutely adore her and love snuggling and playing with her. We are so grateful to have found David and Milla, and we truly feel that we have become part of the Milla’s Kats family!
We’ve had our kitten, Theo, with us for just over three weeks, but we already can’t remember a time without him. We are absolutely in love.
Thank you, Milla and David, for doing such a wonderful job caring for him. It shows in every way—how comfortable he is with us and others, how friendly and playful he is (seriously, he’s all the entertainment we need!), and how sweet, affectionate, and trusting he’s become.
Theo always plays gently, even when he’s all wound up chasing a plush mouse. He’s obsessed with socks and anything made of paper—such a personality! He’s a ball of energy but will gladly curl up against my side while I’m reading on the couch or taking a nap.
He has instantly become such an important member of our family. Thank you, David and Milla, for raising such loving and happy kittens!
I could not have asked for a more perfect cat. He is an absolute joy. You guys have done such an amazing job. He is the sweetest. We are all over the moon with him. His personality is identical to Willow’s. They play perfectly together. He has brought so much happiness to her and calms her. Which is a big deal due to her autism spectrum disorder. So thank you for bringing him into our life. He sleeps with Trey and I every night right now while the cats are separated and the girls are very jealous.
After going through the heartbreak of losing our precious kitty, I began to see a light at the end of the tunnel when I discovered Milla’s Kats website. Unlike many others, their site is filled with helpful information about the breed, care and health, nutrition, and—best of all—plenty of real-life photos and videos of their own cats and baby kittens. The website is updated regularly and is such a joy to browse and watch.
After my initial phone call with David, any doubts I may have had completely disappeared, and we decided without hesitation that we wanted to get our kitten from them. David was so kind and thorough, answering all our questions and addressing every concern through each phase of the process—even after we brought our kitten home.
Although David offers delivery for your kitten, we decided to visit Milla’s Kats in person to pick up our new “baby.” It was a joy to see how meticulously clean the cattery was and how beautiful, healthy, and well-loved all their cats are.
We fell in love with our Louie at first sight. He has been a total joy since the day we brought him home—fully potty-trained, with a great appetite, strong, healthy, playful, and delightfully mischievous. We especially enjoy his evening cuddles when we’re relaxing and watching TV. He’ll climb up our chests, give kisses and gentle rubs under our chins before settling down on our laps or chests. We love him like crazy—such a sweet baby boy!
We are finally a complete “precious kitty” family again, thanks to Milla’s Kats and David!
Joy entered our lives this spring. His name is Bacio Magnifico, Italian for magnificent kiss and indeed he is! Bacio’s amazing personality shows he was raised in a loving home. You couldn’t ask for better care than what Milla’s Kats provides. Just like kids, you can tell what kind of home environment kittens come from. Our little guy is purrfect…happy, playful, charming, intelligent, a true companion. Bacio is gorgeous. You will get the best kitten from this cattery. Thank you David and Milla for all you do! You’re the best.
David, Thank you for sending this little angel to me! She is the most lovely American Shorthair I’ve ever seen. She is so energy, but also super gentle to people. She is also very smart, she always keep quiet while I was sleeping. Me and my roommate love her so much! I will treat her like my own daughter, and take care of her forever.
Thank you so much for our sweet Hemi kitty. She is purrfect!! She is full of energy and loves to be cuddled and held. She is strong and healthy and we are looking forward to many wonderful years together!! Thank you!! We couldn’t be more in love or happy!!
I came across Milla’s Kats while researching the American Shorthair breed. I was mourning the loss of our family cat and wanted to adopt a kitten of a breed that would be perfect for a family like mine. I quickly learned that there aren’t many American Shorthair breeders, so when I called Milla’s Kats and Dave answered right away, I was pleasantly surprised.
I was new to pedigree adoption and didn’t know where to start. I had a lot of questions, and Dave was incredibly informative, transparent, and generous with his time. He also asked me just as many questions about my family and what we were looking for in our next kitten, which made me feel confident that he truly cared about finding the perfect match.
Fast forward to now—two months after adoption—and we have the most beautiful brown tabby kitten named Maggie. Her personality is a perfect fit for our family, and we absolutely love her to pieces. Dave continues to check in and offer advice whenever needed, and Milla and I stay in touch on Instagram and Facebook, sharing photos of our beloved cats.
Having already owned an American Shorthair and needing a companion for my dog, I borrowed my Granddaughter to help me check out ” Millaskats.” We found beautiful cats and kittens and one really took a liking to the dog in the crate we brought in with us.Since the kitten to be purchased was to be a companion to my dog, we kind of let the circumstances and the friendliest kitten be our choice. We have not been disappointed. David and Milla were very gracious and we picked a brown tabby American Shorthair with gold eyes!David has also photographed my Fur Family!
If, like us, you believe that the day God created the first cat was one of God’s best days, you’ll agree—upon meeting a kitten from Milla’s Cattery—that these American Shorthair kittens are exactly what He had in mind when He created cats: confident, charming, playful, healthy, gorgeous, robust, and above all, loving.
Add to those qualities the fact that these kittens are living works of art—so beautiful they take your breath away—and you begin to glimpse the magic (and reality) of a kitten from Milla’s Cattery.
I got my first kitten when I was six years old, and it was love at first sight. He patiently endured being dressed in my doll’s clothes and paraded around in my doll’s carriage! Since then, I’ve had cats named Percy, Chester, Papillon, Elliot, and Mrs. Roosevelt. They were all wonderful cats. But the truth is, I’ve never before seen a kitten like our Theo from Milla’s. I’ve never known a kitten with such great health, vitality, personality, intelligence, and companionship.
At first, I had a hard time imagining buying a cat from California when we live in Santa Fe, New Mexico. But David made every step of the process not only manageable, but easy. He’s a true partner throughout the journey—guiding you, advising you, and coaching you even after your kitten arrives home to help make the transition from cattery life to home life smooth and happy.
We cannot recommend Milla’s Cattery highly enough. I’d write more—but Theo is rubbing my ankles, asking for more fun, cuddles, and purring. So, away I go…
Thank you Milla and David for our wonderful Mylo. He has been with us for 5 days and it already feels like forever! He is so affectionate and fun. He is gentle and playful with our grandchildren and already has the run of the house. His adjustment to his new home is a credit to the way you socialize and care for your kittens. Your devotion to your kittens was evident every step of the way. We are so happy to have him in our home!
From the moment I was warmly welcomed into the spotlessly clean, organized, and cat-loving home of David and Milla Macias, I knew I had found the perfect couple to help make my long-time dream come true — to have an American Shorthair silver tabby kitten of my own.
After the initial interview and several months of waiting, I am now the proud owner of a beautiful, cuddly, smart, playful, and healthy forever friend.
Ok, wait — who am I kidding? She owns me! She tells me when to play, when it’s time to eat, when she wants cuddles, and yes, even when it’s time for a massage. She’s absolutely into everything that’s none of her business, teases me like crazy, and I am completely ga-ga over her.
I highly recommend David and Milla if you are considering an American Shorthair. I have witnessed, more than once, their love, unfailing devotion, and the time and training they dedicate to this breed. They are always available to me whenever I have questions, and I truly thank them for giving me my new bundle of joy.
Talk about the cat’s M-E-O-W!
After losing our two Silver Tabby cats last year, we began to look for two new kittens. Checking out various websites we came across ‘Milla’s Kats.’ We contacted David and told him that we wanted a boy and girl American Shorthair Tabby kitten. We visited David and Milla and were very impressed with their cats, their care and their approach to breeding superior cats. Fast forward, we acquired our two new adorable kittens – ‘Mojo’ and ‘Moxie,’ and we could not be more delighted! They are great cats and we love having them to share our home for years to come!
The owners of Milla’s Kats truly love and care their cats. I visited their cattery before I decided to get a kitten from them. It was a great experience and I immediately fell in love with their American shorthair. I had to wait almost four months for my adorable fur baby , but he is well worth the waiting. He is very affectionate and also well behaved- a rare trait in kittens I suppose. He is everything I ever wanted from a kitten. I know David and Milla have spent a lot of time socializing the kittens for their new forever home. They really did an amazing job. I can’t thank them enough for making my dream come true!
Purchasing a kitten from Milla’s Kats was a great experience. David made it very easy for me. He was always available to answer my questions and he was very informative and helpful. I enjoyed the photos and videos that he would send me while we were waiting for the delivery day. He personally delivered my new kitten to me in San Antonio, TX. I would highly recommend Milla’s Kats to anyone interested in an American Shorthair and I would definitely get another kitten from this breeder first.
Our story is one of loving the American Shorthair breed. We’ve had two American Shorthair silver tabbies over the years, and we recently lost our last one at 17 years old. He was truly a part of our family and the most loving animal.
When we decided to open our hearts again, we searched for a breeder who could help us heal. This breeder needed to be special—someone who would understand that our new kitten would be joining a busy household with three kids, two boxers, a farm cat, and lots of activity.
We knew from the first time we visited Milla’s Kats that they were the right breeder for us. They were warm and welcoming, and they provide such a loving and clean environment for all of their cats. Their passion for not only the breed but for cats in general is clear, especially through the strays they’ve rescued and cared for.
We were overwhelmed with excitement when we received the call that they had a male silver tabby for us. It felt like we were adopting another child—we were both nervous and thrilled! We adopted Romeo at 16 weeks old, and he has been nothing short of amazing. He purrs the moment he sees us and fits right in with our other animals.
Both Romeo and Milla’s Kats have exceeded our expectations. They continue to check in with us and are always available when we have questions.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us Romeo! We truly believe there is no better breed.
We picked up our new kitty, Georgie, for Valentines Day 2019! Georgie took to our family right away and he gets along fabulously with our low energy Pekingese dog.Georgie is such an affectionate cat and warms up quickly to our friends and family.David and Mila did such an excellent job socializing Georgie and preparing him for his new home. You can see how David and Mila truly love and care for these cats!Thank you both so much.
We are a family of four with two young children, ages seven and two. We were a little worried about how a new kitten would fit in and whether the kids’ energy might send her running for the hills. Well, I can tell you that we are absolutely thrilled with our new family member, who has settled in like a pro!
Our kitten, Olive, was affectionate from the very beginning and has bonded with everyone. She’s incredibly friendly and always wants to be involved in whatever the family is doing. She’s even patient with our two-year-old picking her up—sometimes a bit awkwardly—but Olive just goes with the flow.
The process of getting Olive was very easy. At first, we weren’t familiar with how Milla’s Cattery matches each family with the right cat, but it turned out to be the perfect experience. We couldn’t be happier with Olive and how wonderful she’s been with us. It’s also comforting to know that Milla’s Cattery is always available to offer advice and answer any questions we have.
Last year, we decided to adopt a kitten for our little girls. We did a lot of research to find the best breed for us in terms of friendliness, playfulness, longevity, health, and shedding issues. We settled on getting an American Shorthair because they had everything we wanted!
We found MillaKats when we searched online for breeders. After going through their page, we discovered they had the most beautiful American Shorthair cats ever! We knew right away that this was where we wanted to adopt from—a pretty, friendly, and playful kitten!
When we called David for the first time, he made sure to answer all our questions and explain every little detail of the process, from finding the right kitten for us to adopting her. He knew each kitten’s personality and helped us choose one that would be a perfect fit for our family. When it was time to bring our kitten home, David provided a list of supplies we’d need. He made it easy—everything was available on Amazon, and he selected the best items in terms of quality and price. That saved us so much time and effort!
When we brought Baza home, everything changed. She was the missing piece in our family! The kids stopped arguing and started spending more time together playing with Baza. Every morning, I just open their bedroom door, and Baza wakes them up—they’re ready for school in no time. They’ve started to learn responsibility, making sure Baza has her breakfast and dinner on time, keeping the front door closed so she doesn’t run away, and ensuring she sleeps in a warm place every night. There’s such a beautiful connection between them. I couldn’t imagine how much having Baza would change our lives.
Whenever we have questions, we reach out to David, and he responds right away. We’re so happy with the beautiful new member of our family and the wonderful service David has given us. We truly feel like family. Thank you so much for everything, David and Mila!
